Show tickets will be on sale on 10th December via the Macrobert website. Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon shows have the largest casts and may sell out quickly. To give each family the chance to buy, we are restricting sales to four tickets per dancer during December; if these shows are not sold out by 1st February you will then be able to buy as many extra tickets as you wish.

Terms and Conditions

By completing the product form, you agree to the following terms and conditions;

  • Your dancer will take part in the show and attend all required rehearsals

  • You will read and understand the dates and times of dress rehearsals

  • You will arrive at the venue for dress rehearsals and be ready to start at the time listed

  • You will read and understand the dates and times of performances

  • You will ensure your dancer is in the allocated dressing-room at least 30 minutes before the show begins

  • You will read all communication - this will sent by email, posted on parent portals, notice boards and Facebook pages

  • You will sell raffle tickets or pay show fee of equivalent amount

  • You will provide the required colour of shoes (as per class uniform), tights, socks & suitable underwear

  • You will ensure that dancers in Grade 2 upwards wear a nude coloured leotard under costumes

  • You will ensure dancers hair is in the required style

  • You will sign in and out for under 14s at the theatre (over 14s can sign themselves)

  • You will accept responsibility for collecting dancers from the stage door (in the bar area) when the show ends

  • You give permission for your dancer to be included in professional stage photographs and video recordings

Please Note

  • We need at least 2 volunteers backstage per class – please apply via the product form listing availability and size of t-shirt. If we do not have the required number of helpers the class may be excluded. 

  • Dressing room volunteers must be obeyed & treated with respect – they are following instructions issued by staff and have volunteered so that your child can safely take part in the show

  • Dancers are not permitted in auditorium with costumes on. Visits to toilets must be made wearing a cover up or dressing gown. Branded robes and show packs are available to purchase here.

Raffle Tickets

We run a raffle to cover the cost of hiring the theatre, paying staff wages and to cover the cost of buying, laundering and maintaining the hundreds of costumes you will see onstage. If you do not wish to sell raffle tickets you should pay the equivalent as a show fee.

Raffle books contain 10 raffle tickets which should be sold for £2 each.

  • Preschool & Preparatory  – One Book - £20.00

  • Dancers who do one dance – One Book - £20.00

  • Primary upwards – if dancer does 2 dances – Two Books - £40.00

  • Dancers who do 4 dances or more – Three Books - £60.00

  • Vocational Students – Four Books - £80.00

Prizes include: iPhone 15, Apple Watch, Voucher for £500 of Dance fees, £300 of Dance Fees and many other exciting prizes. If you or your business would like to donate a prize please get in touch.

Dress and Technical Rehearsals at Macrobert Arts Centre

Rehearsals and shows can only finish on time if they start on time and run smoothly. We may need to pause to adjust sound, lights or curtains. If your child is late they may miss the rehearsal. Dancers will not be allowed to perform if they have not rehearsed each dance onstage.

TBC: There may be a rehearsal for Grade 3 dances on Friday 22nd at 5pm.
